A good history thesis about technology in WW1?

The topic for my final history essay (Gr 12) is Technology in World War 1. I want to do something about how the technology changed the way wars were fought, but having a thesis statement that says, %26quot;Technology in WW1 changed the way wars were fought.%26quot; seems way too easy to prove and hard to disprove. How can I change this thesis but still have the same general idea? Should I make it more specific, and if so, how?

Thanks in advance!
